DATES: Aug. 6 & 8th 2010
TIME: 8/6 6PM - 8PM, 8/8 1-3pm
PLACE: CREEK ROAD TOWN PARK -
Equipment required: GLOVE (bat and helmet are optional)
PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR THE TRYOUT (NO JEANS)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Girls trying out for this team are expected to know/display the following skills and have a
strong desire to play in this program:
10U TRAVEL TEAM OBLIGATIONS:
This team will be playing in the 2011 Metro Girls Softball League against teams from
Clarence, West Seneca, Amherst, Hamburg, and other local towns.

- GIRLS 10 YEARS OLD OR UNDER.
- 10 & Under - must be 10 yrs old or younger on 12/31/10
- Only EMW-Alden District residents eligible.
TRYOUT EXPECTATIONS:
Girls trying out for this team are expected to know/display the following skills and have a
strong desire to play in this program:
- Proper hitting, fielding, catching & throwing techniques
- Positive attitude, team player
- Knowledge of the game
10U TRAVEL TEAM OBLIGATIONS:
This team will be playing in the 2011 Metro Girls Softball League against teams from
Clarence, West Seneca, Amherst, Hamburg, and other local towns.
- The selected travel team players must be committed to an off season practice
schedule. - The 12U Travel Team will play in three (or more) tournaments.
- Some fundraising will be required.
Costs Charged by League:
- Resident also playing House (only JV & Varsity exempt from House)-$100
