Is your Little Leaguer brand new to baseball or softball? Farm League is EMW’s introductory tee-ball level for children ages 4-6. Kids are split into co-ed teams (roughly 12-15 per team), and the league provides hats and jerseys for them. Typically, practices start at the end of April, with games planned to start around Mother’s day – typically the Friday or Saturday before.

The season ends around the end of June (but may extend into July because of weather delays). Because of the size of the program, we are not limited to what days of the week we play. Games  on weekdays start at 6:15p, and Saturday games start at 10a or 12p. The season is 10 games in total and we typically try to keep it to two games a week(but there could be weeks with more or less, depending on circumstances.) The last game of the season is always under the lights on the Football Field, with celebrations and trophy presentations, which is always a super fun experience for the kids!

If you want to help out, the League is always looking for volunteers to help Coach and Assist. With the younger leagues, it can be a more hands-on experience, so many times the coaches are in the field of play with the kids helping them out.
