As many of you are aware, in December 2024, Maxton Williams, an 8th grader at Iroquois, was diagnosed with DIPG – an inoperable tumor that develops in the brain stem, typically in young children. Our local community has come out in full force to support the Williams family, and we at EMW Baseball and Softball will also be rallying around Max.
During our 2025 Season, the league will be holding “Max Mondays”. Every Monday, 20% of all concessions sales will go to the GoMax Fundraiser. We will have a collection jar available at the concession stand for additional donations, as well.
In addition to the donations, every jersey this season is adorned with a GoMax patch on the shoulder. We encourage all of our players to wear their jerseys to school on Mondays to show their support for Max.
As a volunteer organization, we understand how crucial community support is. We hope that you join in helping us spread that support back to our community.
