EMW Little League is stepping up to the plate and inviting all community members to become an integral part of our 2024 baseball and softball seasons. We are currently on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to fill the vital role of umpires for our upcoming season. This is more than just a position; it's an opportunity to engage with the sport, gain valuable life skills, and make a positive impact in the lives of our youth.

Open to candidates aged 13 and older as of May 1, 2024, this role offers not only flexible scheduling but also a chance to earn between $25 to $60 per game. It's a fantastic way to learn the intricacies of baseball and softball, develop decision-making skills, and foster a sense of responsibility and fairness — all while being compensated for your time and contribution to the community.

To ensure our umpires are fully prepared, we require all new and returning volunteers to attend a mandatory training session. This session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27th, from 7-9 PM at the Elma Primary School Gymnasium. During this training, you'll be equipped with the rules, mechanics, and on-field protocols to ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for all.
